1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use an online application. They help ensure proper functioning, security, and basic features of the site.
The term "cookies" in this policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, SDKs, and device or session identifiers.

The exception applies to technologies strictly necessary for transmitting a communication or providing a service you have explicitly requested.

- Functional, analytical and marketing cookies are activated only after your appropriate consent.
3. Cookie categories
3.1. Necessary cookies
Required for basic website and platform operation. Used for secure login, session maintenance, fraud prevention, load balancing, saving cookie preferences, and secure payment processing. These cannot be disabled via the consent tool, though you may block them in your browser (which may break some features).
3.2. Functional cookies
Enable remembering your choices and customising your experience — language, region, display settings, previously selected features. Used only with consent if not strictly necessary.
3.3. Analytical cookies
Help us understand how the site and platform are used — visit counts, pages viewed, time on page, technical errors, aggregated usage patterns. Not set before your consent.
3.4. Marketing cookies
May be used for campaign measurement, ad customisation, or cross-site tracking. Festina.ai does not activate marketing cookies before your appropriate consent. If not implemented, this category is marked inactive in the consent tool.
4. First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set directly by the festina.ai domain. Third-party cookies are set by external providers whose services we use — payment processors, infrastructure and security providers, analytics services, embedded video or other external features.
5. Consent management tool
On your first visit, a cookie notice allows you to accept all non-necessary cookies, reject all, select individual categories, access additional information, and change or withdraw your choice later. "Accept all" and "Reject all" buttons are equally accessible. Non-necessary cookies are not activated before your choice.
Consent must be provable, and withdrawal must be as easy as giving it.
6. Changing and withdrawing consent
You may change or withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link, permanently available in the website footer and, where applicable, within your account. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of cookie use before withdrawal.
7. Cookie record
To prove your choices, we may record: consent identifier, date and time of giving or withdrawing consent, selected categories, notice and policy version, and basic technical data needed to prove the choice. Such records are kept only as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.
8. Current cookie list
The current list of cookies and similar technologies is available in the Cookie Settings tool and must include for each technology: name, provider and domain, purpose, category, duration, whether first or third party, and information about possible international transfer where applicable.
Before publication, actual cookies must be confirmed by technical scanning. Do not enter assumed cookies into this table.
9. Stripe
If you initiate a subscription or payment process, Stripe may set cookies or use similar technologies necessary for secure payment processing, fraud prevention, transaction protection, and maintaining the payment session. Full card details are not stored on Festina servers. If Stripe technologies are activated only upon explicitly initiated payment and are strictly necessary, they may be classified as necessary. Other Stripe technologies must be assessed separately.
10. Microsoft technologies
The platform uses Microsoft infrastructure and may use Microsoft technologies related to authentication, security, session maintenance, system stability, technical performance measurement, Azure infrastructure and Azure AI services. Each Microsoft technology must be classified according to its actual purpose — being provided by an infrastructure partner does not automatically make a cookie necessary.
11. Browser settings
You can delete or block cookies via your browser settings. The procedure depends on the browser and device used. Blocking all cookies, including necessary ones, may cause inability to log in, session interruption, inability to save settings, payment difficulties, and limitation or unavailability of certain platform features.
12. International transfers
If a cookie or similar technology provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is carried out in accordance with applicable international transfer rules — for example, based on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Additional information is available in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may amend this Policy due to changes in cookies, providers, features, technology or regulations. A new version, publication date and effective date will be published at the top of the document. When a change requires new consent, the cookie selection tool will be shown to you again.
